April 11 Notes

We had good attendance for our Friends Day last Sunday ... morning worship, followed by a fellowship meal and an Area Wide Singing. The singing was fantastic with great voices blending together to worship God. There was an excellent turnout with people from Anacortes, Everett, Ferndale, Marysville, and Oak Harbor churches ... as well as a couple visiting from Montana who may be moving to the area.  The next Area-Wide Singing will be hosted by the Marysville church but conducted here at our building on Sunday,

Here are prayer requests turned in Sunday morning:

"My sisters Joyce and Ann are having real serious health problems. Also my granddaughter, Ellicia" ...Rentz Gullick

"Please continue to pray for my friend Chris. He and his wife have made a commitment to continue to work on their marriage and have put a stop on the divorce proceedings. Please pray that they will both seek God's love and wisdom."  ...Rodney Blunt

"A friend of ours, Charlie Corkum broke his ankle and will have it operated on this Tuesday. Please pray that it goes well and that it will heal completely."  ...Jeanie Young

"Continue to remember Kay Hall and her son and reach out to them.  Pray for Stacey Wilson in LaConner who ran in Marjorie's irrigation ditch on Friday. He new car was totaled."

"Pray for my sister Tracy - she has to stop chemo treatments due to kidney problems -- pray that the doctors can resolve this problem quickly so she can continue with the chemo." ...Cathi Adams    Note: Cathi's sister was able to attend our singing Sunday afternoon.

"Please keep praying for Jim Gibbs and his family as he fights leukemia.  Also please keep my friend Carson in mind as she is trying to be a young Christian growing up in a non-Christian family." ...Olivia Blunt

"Prayer for my sister as she has a job interview tomorrow. Thanks."  ...Karla Williamson

Note of appreciation to Sky Brown:  "The communion service was very meaningful today. Thank you for your thoughts and scriptures."
