Bob Sell Baptized Saturday Afternoon
Bob Sell was baptized by Rodney Blunt Saturday afternoon in Everett. Bob is undergoing rehabilitation as he recovers from a stroke. He is doing well, but expects to be in rehab about two more weeks. Rejoice over Bob's baptism and welcome him into our family at Skagit Valley Church of Christ. Bob is excited about coming to church again as soon as he is able.

Sunday Notes - September 5th
Please pray for Judy Fair's mother who has ovarian cancer and is very ill.
Please be praying for Robb Williamson; he is still undergoing tests and is in quite a bit of pain.
"It is good to see Elmer, Audrey, and all our visitors. Pray for our ill and safety for all over the holidays. Thank you for your prayers and love." ...Marge Easley
"Men who are willing to participate in the morning worship are asked to sign up for the tasks they will perform. The sign up sheet is in the hallway on the bulletin board. Don't hesitate to sign up for multiple services. Thank you."
The Young Adult Meeting previously scheduled for September 5 has been postponed until September 19 following the morning assembly.
Remember next Sunday (September 12) is the 2nd Sunday, which means we will have a potluck following the morning assembly. The potluck will be followed by a singing and devotional service. We will not have Sunday night services next Sunday.
