June 26 - Notes and Prayer Requests

Praise for Leta Pollock's birthday today.  Pray for David Picinich that the months he's gone will go quickly for him and he'll be safe. Prayers for the Newmans as they drive home from California.

Praise the Lord - we had a wonderful trip to Lubbock and got to spread our grandparenting wings.  Also pray for Marge - she's not here this morning. She has her eye surgery June 29 - pray that all goes well with that. ...Jeannie Young


Praise God that Anna Dale (Cathi Adams' mother) is home and resting. Please pray that she'll continue to heal. Her tests showed no colon cancer or cancer of any kind.

Praise!  Twelve years ago today, Paula and Adam Williamson were married in this building. ...Jim Wilkison


Praise for Candan Moser and her new baby -- both are home and doing well.

Update about Ann Dale (Cathi Adams' mother)

The following came in an email from Andy Adams to Rodney:

 I have somber news Cathi,s mom is back in the hospital she was this morning. She passed out twice this morning she will not eat any think because of the chemo. I think when she passed out she hit her head. It seems every day it is something and its got Cathi at the end of her rope. Please pray for Cathi and her mom.

June 19 Announcements and Prayer Requests

"My husband and I are flying to Lubbock, Texas tomorrow to meet our new granddaughter!  Please pray for a safe, smooth trip. We return this Friday.  Please also keep Marge Easley in your prayers ... sh's not here this morning.  -- Jeanie Young   [Marge has eye surgery scheduled for next week].

"Praise that Jim's heart rate is back to normal after the procedure last week to regulate it" -- Jim Wilkison


"Praising God that my Mom had her last chemo on Friday and seems to be in remission!  Continue praying for her, as she is still not well, very weak, and not eating." -- Cathi Adams.  [We also rejoice that Cathi was able to be back at services Sunday after her recent surgery].

Good news that Elmer Juntenen was able to go home Saturday. He has round-the-clock care, but is going to be much happier staying in his own home.

We received news that Kathy Dowling's mother passed away recently. Our condolence to her and her family.

Sunday Notes & Prayer Requests

  • Al Green (my nephew) ... recovery from surgery last Thursday and Elmer, for gaining strength that he might go home (Rentz)
  • Please keep Karee and the kids in your prayers while they are visiting family in Texas.  Keep the Adams family in your prayers.  (Rodney)
Announcements:

  • Men are reminded to sign the sheet on the bulletin board for times they are willing to serve during the worship assembly.
  • "We will be gone to Oregon next weekend to our granddaughter's graduation and I'll need for someone to teach my class Sunday morning."  (Judy Hill)
  • Quick meeting for all those helping with Berry Dairy Days right after church this morning.  (The church will have a booth at the Berry Dairy Days festival on June 18th.
  • No potlucks on Wednesday nights during the summer.
  • 2nd Sunday potluck next Sunday, followed by Area-Wide Singing at 2 p.m.

  • For Andy Adams ... heart healing; tests tomorrow. (Update: Andy's tests were negative. He did not have a heart attack and tests showed no evidence of heart trouble. The cause of his chest pain is unknown at this time)
  • For Cathi Adams ... surgery next week
  • For Elmer Juntenen ... for peace and no pain and that God's will be done in his life
  • For Casey and Darcie Newman ... Darcie's dad passed away a few days ago; they are also facing stressful economic situations
  • For Al Green ... surgery Thursday
  • For "Aunt Lisa"  ... to get a job
  • For new baby Leisl ... praise that all is well
  • For Eli, Jack, Joseph ... all our children
  • For Rob Williamson ... dealing with significant events; needs God's guidance and wisdom
  • For Homeschool moms, who are preparing for next year
  • For tornado victims and those who might be in harm's way from future storms
  • Thanksgiving for Karen's safe return from her trip to Europe
