May 27 Notes and Prayer Requests

  • Praise God!  Our son-in-law Tim found a job. It's part-time to start. Pray that if this is a good fit for him, that it will become full-time.   ...Jeanie Young
  • Remember Elmer Juntenen's family and those traveling. [Elmer passed away Saturday.]
  • Pray for Elmer's family and for Joe and Becky Williamson as they travel.
  • Pray for safe travel for Shari and Jonathan Natal in June.  Pray for successful job hunts for Derek Barcalow and Shari Natal. Both are trying to find jobs closer to home.
  • Pray for my parents (Allen & Judy Hill) while they are traveling.  ...Jacob Hill
  • Andrew leaves for Brazil on Tuesday. Please pray for safe travels and safety for him.  Also, peace of mind for us while he's there.   ...the Adamses
  • Mr. Lee [Singleton] has a broken ankle.  ...Meredith Williamson  [It turns out Lee's ankle is sprained, but that is still painful.]
  • Please pray for Joe and Becky Williamson as they are on their way to Nebraska.

Wednesday Night Prayer Requests


  • Elmer Juntenen is now home, but critically ill under Hospice care.  Please pray for his peace and comfort and for his family members.
  • Cati Adams continues to have a lot of problems with pain and nausea. Tests are being done to see what is wrong. Pray for her healing.
  • Karee and Sophia Blunt will be traveling to Nashville this weekend. Pray for their safe travel.
  • Praise that Karla's family arrived safely back home in Massachusetts.
  • Becky Williamson asks prayers for her son, Robb.  Something is wrong with his eyes; pray that it is nothing serious.
  • Pray for Amanda DeLang whose cancer treatments are ongoing.
  • Pray for Rentz, Allen, & Judy who are traveling to California.
  • Pray for John Williamson's co-worker, Dan, who is potentially needing a heart transplant.
  • Pray for Becky & Joe Williamson's safe travel to Texas and Nebraska.
  • Pray for David & Casey for their adoption plans to come to pass.

May 16 Prayer Requests:

Elmer Juntenen is now in Skagit Valley Hospital, Room 3012.  He is having breathing problems in addition to pain from having vertabrae fused.
Wanda Sell has been having problems with bronchitis and acid reflux. Pray for her quick healing.
Jamie Brisky needs our prayers as he continues his battle with cancer.
Cati Adams has been very sick this week. She has been taking anti-nausea meds but they have not helped much.
Candy Hobbs ... back and neck hurting
Andy Adams  ... hurt his wrist
Cathi Adams ... needs rest during stressful time
Vivian Pitner ... ongoing health problems ... pray for her medications to be effective
Newman family ... sick with fevers
Williamson family ... Karla's family visiting from Massachusetts

Prayer Requests this morning:

  • Prayers of safety for my parents and sister as they travel out here Tuesday - Thanks.  Also continued prayers for Jacob Doran, who has lung and liver cancer.    -- Karla Williamson
  • Prayers for my newphew Al Green, whose cancer has returned.  His new chemo treatment starts in a week or two.   -- Rentz Gullick
We are hosting a "virtual baby shower" for Elizabeth (Todd) Cook and her new baby, Hannah. She is registered online at Target, and is in need of a lot of basic baby things. If you'd like to participate, either send a gift in the next two weeks, or see Karee Blunt with a donation or with questions.  The cutoff is Memorial Day weekend. Matt and Elizabeth's address will be posted in the bulletin.

  • 1) Prayers for Jud's first high altitude hang gliding flight next week. Pray for his continued safety. 2) Shari & Jonathan have an offer in on a house in Burlington. Prayers for a successful completion of this transaction . Closing is set for June 27th.  (Candi Hobbs)

Recent Prayer Requests

Catching up with prayer requests and other notes from Sunday, April 29 and Wednesday, May 2:


  • Eli Blunt is home with pink eye.
  • Andrew Hill is back on a fishing boat in Alaska. Pray for his safety.
  • Judy Hill's brother, Kenny Mackey, fell and broke some ribs. Please pray for him and his wife, Kim, who also has serious health problems.
  • Praise for safe travels for Jim & Laura White, who are back from Montana, where they got to meet their new grandson.
  • Melissa Adams requested prayers for her sister Cati and for her grandma, Ann.
  • Pray for Becky Williamson and granddaughter Lydia Williamson to have a good week in Oregon and to travel home safely on Sunday.
  • Andy Adams asked our prayers for Andrew's summer internship with a church in Texas and for his upcoming mission trip to Brazil.
  • Prayers requested for Tanzanian missionary Sean Hochdorf who has an infected appendix and is hospitalized in Arusha, Tanzania.
  • Keep the Pitners, the Newmans, and the Hasenoehrls in your prayers as they deal with various problems.
  • Karen Hasenoehrl asks us to pray for a friend of her parents, Mike Kohl, who had a failed surgery on a heart valve recently and is now on the list for a heart transplant. He is only in his 50s.
  • Craig Pitner offers thanks to the church family for all the prayers and visits while he was hospitalized last week.
  • Jamie Brisky had his last chemo treatment earlier this week. Pray that they treatments have been successful.
  • Congratulations to our LTC'ers who did a terrific job at convention.  Thank you to everyone who helped get them there.
