Gilbert went home not feeling well. Pray that he recovers quickly.
Cathi Adams has been having severe back pain this week. She has been referred to a back specialist.
Ann Dale has a heart catheter appointment for November 11th. She has not been feeling well.
Piper Singleton asked us to pray for brother John at the Ferndale church. His heart condition is very serious.
The Williamsons continue to ask our prayers for their friend Kevin Cellucci.
Faith Williamson will get her cast off next week. Pray that her arm has healed completely.
Praise for Robb Williamson's new job and prayers for his recovery from shingles.

John Gaines asked prayers for his son Daniel and family who are leaving Saturday for three years' mission work in Tanzania.

• There will be a Ladies breakfast here on Saturday, October 12th at 9 a.m.  All ladies are invited for a time of fellowship and encouragement.
• The Ladies class is currently studying ways to strengthen our relationship with God through personal study and prayer time. Itls a great time of learning, sharing and holding each other accountable with the goal being to become Christian women who are truly on fire for the Lord. We ask for your prayers to strengthen our commitments and also want to encourage others to join us.
• The Auditorium Bible Class will begin a new study of the Fruit of the Spirit next Sunday.  Steve Woodward will be teaching. This class is open to both men and women.  Both the Auditorium Class and Ladies' Class runs from 9:30-10:15 on Sunday mornings.

• Pray for Trish Gaines and her family. Her brother, Gary Holden, passed away during the night Wednesday night {updated 9/19/13}

• Pray for Daniel & Tiffany Gaines and family who are packing crates to be shipped on Saturday to Tanzania. The family will travel to Africa in November for three years' mission work.

• There was a shooting on campus this week at FAULKNER UNIVERSITY. No students were involved directly, but pray for peace and comfort for the students and for the campus worker who was shot.
• ALMA JONES will be transitioning to live with Joe and Becky Williamson. Pray for things to go smoothly and for Becky's sister as she helps short-term with Alma's care.
• Laura's brother LARRY pulled a muscle in his heart. Praise that it was not a heart attack as first thought, and prayers for his quick healing.

• Please pray for Jim & Ruth Lake Wilkison.  Jim is looking for a care facility for Ruth Lake as her symptoms of dementia are increasing.  Also, Jim hurt his back again.  Today is Jim's 89th birthday.  Wednesday is Ruth Lake's 92nd.
• From the Blunt family:  We are so blessed to have Sophia Nie visiting us this weekend. She flies back to Phoenix this afternoon for business and then back to China next weekend.  Prayers for safe travels back home.  Also Karee will be flying to Texas Wednesday. Prayers for a safe trip there and back.
• From Cati Adams:  I am dealing with two different but very difficult situations. I need prayers for patience and wisdom in dealing with them.  Also my mom, Cathi started a new medication for migraines which wiped her out and she is suffering side effects. Please pray that she gets better and her migraines go away.

From Andy Adams: Pray for the family of Alton Asbery, for Cathi, her uncle, and Ann, as they deal with the loss. Alton passed away after a long battle with lung disease. Alton was Ann's brother and Cathi's uncle. He was a preacher for the church mostly in Washington.  Cathi and her mom, Ann are sick with bronchitis and Ann with congrestive heart failure. Also, pray for me to stay healthy and get plenty of rest while having to work extra overtime as my partner is on vacation.

• From Cathi Adams:  1) My mom Ann is having surgery on Thursday to have a pacemaker implanted.  2) Pray for Andrew. He has applied for a teaching position in China. This would give him a great opportunity for evangelism with the church there. Pray for him to see God's will in making these decisions.
• From Jody Brown: I will be traveling this week and would appreciate prayers. Thanks.
• Please pray for Derek, Tanna, and Nicolas Barcalow. Derek left yesterday to go Alaska. He will be away working for a few months.

• Please pray for Audrey Hastings, who is had surgery Sunday due to a fall on Saturday. Her shoulder and elbow were broken. She will have to have more surgery as she heals. After several days in the hospital, she has been moved to Mira Vista Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.

Wednesday Night Notes - March 6th

Cathi Adams was home with back pain and Trish Gaines was home with a migraine headache.

Rentz asks us to keep Eric Neufeld in our prayers. He and his wife are friends with Rentz's daughter, Ellen. Eric is battling cancer.

Judy Hill is scheduled for her six-week checkup tomorrow as she continues her recovery from surgery.

Jim Wilkison continues to experience back pain, but thinks it is slowly improving.

Marge Easley has a cold that keeps hanging on, causing her to feel badly.

Rentz asked our concern for the Venezuelan missions program of the Kingswood Church of Christ in Houston. The death of Hugo Chavez has led to concerns for the safety of Christians in that country.

Andy Adams asked prayers for Andrew that he will finish his school requirements and graduate in April from Oklahoma Christian. He is looking for a ministry job position. Pray that the right doors open for him.

Continue to pray for Nancy Pace as she recovers from her surgery.

Eli Blunt wanted to give thanks for the church. We're thankful for Elijah and all the other children here who know that prayer is important and want to participate in our prayer requests. May they grow up to be men and women with strong prayer lives.

• Thank you to everyone who attended our Valentin dinner. We raised close to $400 for our LTC trip. (Larissa Macomber)
• Elnora Oelze (preacher's wife in Anacortes) passed out Wednesday night at church and went to the ER with an enlarged heart. She went on to Bellingham. After tests, there seemed to be no other problems and she was sent home. Pray for no other problems and good health and healing for her.  Also, for Don Oelze and the back pain he has been suffering.
• Prayers requested for Karla and the kids to get better. They are dealing with flu right now. Thank you. (John Williamson)
• Praise that Mindy Singleton's father is healing well from his surgery!

• Steve Diggs will be with us February 3-4 for the No Debt No Sweat! Money Management Seminar.  He will begin the program by teaching a combined Bible class next Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and preach during the 10:30 a.m. service.  We'll have a quick Simplified Potluck (sandwiches, salads, and soups) together, then get set up for the first official session of the seminar from 1-3 p.m. next Sunday.  Then Monday night, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. the seminar concludes.  
• February 10 -- Regular morning services, followed by our 2nd Sunday Potluck, then the Area-Wide Singing at 2 p.m.

From Sky Brown:  Thanks that God answered my prayer for my promotion. Prayer that in public service God will get the praise. Prayer that God will cleanse me from sins that trip me up and that he will give me the ability to make the right decisions. I can't do it without him.

From Andy Adams: Pray for Andrew that God would heal him and he could keep his kidney. Pray for me as I streuggle with loneliness as I miss Cathi, and that I would not cut myself off from the world.  Pray for Cathi as she takes care of Andrew to stay strong in Christ.

From Faith Williamson: Pray for the people who are in the Life Care Center, for our neighbors who are preparing to retire and move, and for Adam and Paula Williamson.

From Craig Pitner: Please keep Vivian in top of your prayers. She is still having stomach problems, confusion, memory ... also special concerns for the Kimberleys.

Jim Wilkison fell and bruised his tail bone and pinched a nerve. He is in some pain.  Please pray for a speedy recovery.

Pray for Tami Beach and her family (her mother has been diagnosed with advanced cancer) and for Andrew Adams and Cathi Adams.  Andrew is having surgery today in Colorado to insert stents in his kidney that was injured in a skiing accident several days ago.

Pray fo Gayle Brisky who is not feeling well. She will have tests this week to determine treatment and next steps.

Pray for Judy Hill who is scheduled for surgery on her shoulder on January 27, but hopes to get in earlier for the surgery if the doctors' schedules permit.

Karee Blunt is home sick today.

Wednesday Night Prayers

Please continue your prayers for Andrew Adams. Doctors were saying today that his kidney should heal itself. They do not think he will have to undergo any further surgery. He may be able to leave the hospital in Colorado and return to Oklahoma sometime next week.

Please remember Tami Beach's mother, Ruby, in your prayers. She is in a lot of pain. She has been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.  Pray for her and for her family to have peace as they adjust to the events that are expected to take place in the coming weeks.

Pray for Judy Hill as she continues to suffer with a very painful shoulder. She expects to have surgery soon.

Pray for Becky Williamson's wrist to heal. She had carpal-tunnel surgery last week.

Pray for Marge Easley as she battles a cold and general feeling bad.

Pray for Nancy Pace to feel better and to be able to deal with the death of her dad.
