Sunday Notes and Prayer Requests - June 29

Prayer Requests Turned In June 29, 2014:

• Pray for support during an unanticipated career disruption. (Brian Lindahl)
• Pray for Cathi Adam's sister/Ann Dale's daughter, Diane, who is suffering with stage 4 cancer.  Hospice will be called in now. She will also be having surgery next week to relieve a blockage around her liver that was caused by the cancer.
• Praise for getting into my CNA class and thanks for your prayers. Please pray that I will learn what I need that I can pass my tests to get my license.  (Cati Adams)
• Thanks to each one who cares and shows concern for my mom Marjorie Easley.  It is very much appreciated by her family.  Also, pray for a safe flight back to Georgia for my granddaughter Riley and me.  With sincere love, Rebanette Easley-Wier.
• Please pray for all the people who have lost their family and friends, especially for the Wilkinsons in their loss.  Love.  (Evelyn Williamson)

• For anyone who can stay, we will be testing Lego games (for VBS) in the auditorium after church. Lunch will be provided.
• I need to finish moving out of our old house in Oak Harbor today -- anyone that might have time is welcome to come carry some boxes. See me for directions.  (Brian Lindahl)
• Sauk River 2014 Area-Wide Men's Retreat -- August 21-23.  Featured speaker Charles Browning from Duarte, CA.  Hosted by 92nd Street Church of Christ in Marysville.

Wednesday Night Prayer Requests - June 25

• Please keep the Wilkison family in your prayers. Jim passed away on Tuesday night. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
• Please continue praying for Rentz Gullick. He will begin his chemotherapy treatments soon.
• Pray for safe travel for Karee Blunt.
• Pray for Cathi Adams' sister Diane who is having new symptoms in her cancer battle.
• Pray for Ann Dale, who fell again this week. Thankfully, she was not seriously injured.
• Pray for Lee Singleton's mom Nancy, whose broken wrist is not healing as well as hoped.
• Pray for Darren Williamson as he travels home from Tennessee
• Pray for Becky Williamson for peace of mind as she adjusts to her mom living with her.
• Pray for Cati Adams that she will be given the opportunity to take CNA training. UPDATE: Cati reports that the call came Thursday informing her that she has been accepted.

June 22 Notes and Prayer Requests

• Please be praying for my brother, Charlie Ray, and his family as they leave us tomorrow and head south to visit more family. Let us continue in prayer for our Rentz.   ... Judy Hill
• Prayers for many ill:  Betty Brown, Rentz Gullick, Jim Wilkison, Danny Brisky and others such as Marge Easley.  Prayers for all leaders -- family church and world and thanksgiving for all blessings.
• Pray for Monda Woodward's injured knee.
• Please pray for Mr. Jim W. as he is not feeling good.  And a praise that Mr. Rentz is here.  ... Evelyn
• Jim Wilkison's condition has worsened. The pneumonia has returned. He is very discouraged.  He needs your prayers.  ...Steve Wilkison
• Bob and Laurie Melton's (from the Anacortes church) grandson Elliott was born not breathing last week at a healthy weight and length.  Elliot (as of Thursday) was on a cold bed so his brain won't swell.  He is now breathing on his own. Please pray for no brain damage.  Also happy 8th birthday this Saturday!  ...Crystal 
• Please pray for Mia and Lynzie as they still battle cancer.  ...Lydia
• Pray for Naomi as she sprained her ankle. And praise that Andrew Adams came back safely.

• Diane [Ann Dale's daughter/Cathi Adams' sister] learned that her cancer has spread to her lungs now. She is contemplating whether or not to continue with chemo treatments. Prayers for wisdom and for a softened heart.
• Prayers for safe travel for Karee as she travels Wednesday to Texas to spend a week.

NOTES

• Thanks so very much to so many of our family that worked to make a float for yesterday's parade.  Our upcoming VBS was well advertised due to their efforts. Special appreciation to Millissa for doing a lot of work on the float last week while she was under a lot of pressure.  Her efforts are really appreciated.
• Many, many thanks to all the people who came to help us move Friday night.  You made a stressful event so much easier than it could have been.  ...The Blunts
