2nd Sunday Fellowship and Area-Wide Gospel Singing

Remember that Sunday, June 13 is the time for our monthly potluck fellowship meal following the morning worship assembly.  Bring plenty of food for your family and extra to share with guests.

Also, this month is time for the Area-Wide Gospel Singing, which will be held here at the Skagit Valley building at 2 p.m. Plan to enjoy a special time of praising God and encouraging one another in song. In April, we had an excellent crowd for this event. Let's make it even better this time!

We will not have evening services this Sunday.

Last Sunday's Prayer Requests

From the Adams family -- "Thank you all for your love, prayers and support this week as we coped with the death of my sister. You are a wonderful church family and we love you."

"I just want to give thanks for my new job. I really enjoy it. Thank you to all who prayed for me." ...Cati Adams

"Ruth Lake was hit by a bicycle rider yesterday and received various cuts and bruises. She went to the emergency room, but after x-rays was sent home. Please pray for her." ...Jim Wilkison

"Please continue to keep Marge Easley in your prayers. She felt better Friday and hoped to be here today, but her leg must still be too painful."  ...Jeanie Young

"Please remember those here who are looking for work."  ...John Williamson

"Praise God for Allen's recovery."

Updated request from Becky Williamson:  "I would request your prayers on behalf of Makyra [Darren and Melody Williamson's oldest daughter] – her back surgery has been moved from July 30th to this coming Friday as a result of a cancellation.  Her name was at the top of the list due to the severity & speed that her spine was turning."

Young Adult Group / Guest Speaker Sunday Morning

We had a great turnout and extremely high interest at the Young Adult meeting tonight. A total of 19 were present, and the group went well over an hour brainstorming ideas about goals and activities. They have planned for next week a Game Night (Monday @ 7 p.m. at Nathan & Amber's house) and a Devotional (Saturday at the Hasenoehrls' house).

Ken Wilson is scheduled to be our guest Sunday morning. He will make a presentation at 9:30 to combined Men's & Women's classes about the Sunset International Bible Institute Northwest in Puyallup, WA. Brother Wilson will also preach during the morning worship assembly.
