March 10 Prayer Notes

• Please be praying for my brother-in-law George. He is in hospice care and knows his time on earth is nearing the end. He does not know his Lord.     ... Becky W.
• We need to be praying for Marge Easley. She has been ill for about five weeks. Please call her to lift her spirits.
• Praises and continued prayers for our nephew Evan. He has an inoperable brain tumor that has started to shrink!  And for Nancy to continue healing from her surgery.  ... Jay Pace
• Prayers for Andrew and Melissa as they leave on Thursday for a mission trip to Mexico. They will be driving with a group from church -- please pray for their safety while traveling and for God to ease my anxiety while they are gone.   ... Andy and Cathi Adams

Wednesday Night Notes - March 6th

Cathi Adams was home with back pain and Trish Gaines was home with a migraine headache.

Rentz asks us to keep Eric Neufeld in our prayers. He and his wife are friends with Rentz's daughter, Ellen. Eric is battling cancer.

Judy Hill is scheduled for her six-week checkup tomorrow as she continues her recovery from surgery.

Jim Wilkison continues to experience back pain, but thinks it is slowly improving.

Marge Easley has a cold that keeps hanging on, causing her to feel badly.

Rentz asked our concern for the Venezuelan missions program of the Kingswood Church of Christ in Houston. The death of Hugo Chavez has led to concerns for the safety of Christians in that country.

Andy Adams asked prayers for Andrew that he will finish his school requirements and graduate in April from Oklahoma Christian. He is looking for a ministry job position. Pray that the right doors open for him.

Continue to pray for Nancy Pace as she recovers from her surgery.

Eli Blunt wanted to give thanks for the church. We're thankful for Elijah and all the other children here who know that prayer is important and want to participate in our prayer requests. May they grow up to be men and women with strong prayer lives.

March 3 Prayer Notes

• Prayers for a family friend Mary Beth who was just diagnosed with leukemia. Prayers for her complete healing (from Karla).
• Shari Natal is home resting after a nigh in the emergency room with an apparent allergic reaction to shellfish. She had a rough night.  (Candy Hobbs)
• Pray for Eric Neufeld for healing of his cancer. He is a friend of my daughter Ellen. (Rentz)

• Eric Neufeld, husband of Rentz' daughter Ellen's best friend, who has Stage 4 cancer.

• For Roger and Lou White, Jim's parents, who were in a car wreck in which Jim's mom was hurt. Prayers for her healing and that they will be able to get another car right away.
• For the family of Darlene Renne who died in an auto accident in Florida. Prayers for her husband Joe and the church family where Joe serves as an elder.
• For Nancy Pace's continued healing
• For Andy and Cathi Adams - new challenges with new living arrangements -- prayers for patience.

From Sunday, February 24:

• Jim Wilkison has a hairline fracture in his second vertebrae and will start physical therapy this week.
• Plese keep Marge Easley in your prayers. She is dealing with lots of aches and pains.
• "It is good to be back with my church family!  Thank you for the prayers and encouragement while I was in Oklahoma taking care of Andrew. He still has a lot of healing to do, but he's back to school full-time and doing well!  Also, pray for my mom Ann and Cati -- there's been a lot of stress for them this week in getting moved. • "Thanks to Lee Singleton, who was a great teacher!" (And thanks to all our other teachers as well. We're rotating teachers next Sunday, March 3rd. Lee and several others will be getting a break. We'll welcome some new teachers into the rotation while 

February 17 Notes

Sorry for the delay in getting prayer requests posted the last two weeks.  Here are the prayer request cards turned in Sunday morning, February 17:

• Judy Hill would like to thank all for calls and cards during her recovery from surgery.
• Thank you to everyone who attended our Valentin dinner. We raised close to $400 for our LTC trip. (Larissa Macomber)
• Elnora Oelze (preacher's wife in Anacortes) passed out Wednesday night at church and went to the ER with an enlarged heart. She went on to Bellingham. After tests, there seemed to be no other problems and she was sent home. Pray for no other problems and good health and healing for her.  Also, for Don Oelze and the back pain he has been suffering.
• Prayers requested for Karla and the kids to get better. They are dealing with flu right now. Thank you. (John Williamson)
• Praise that Mindy Singleton's father is healing well from his surgery!
• Praise that Cathi is home.  Pray for her mom who is struggling after her stroke and under the stress of moving in with us. Cathi is home today taking care of her.  Andrew is doing great, less 1/2 a kidney. (Andy Adams)

• Please pray for Leta. She is at the emergency room for a fall. [Leta has been admitted to the hospital. She is sore and hurting, but does not have any broken bones. She is not sure when she will get to go home, but hopefully that will happen soon.]
• Nancy Pace is recovering at home after her surgery. She is still having a good bit of pain, but is doing much better overall.
