From Mindy Singleton:  Praise for a successful surgery. My dad's hand is in the process of healing.

From the Adamses:  Cati and Grandma are both home sick today.  Prayers for them, please. Also, thank you, Lord, for Skagit Valley church.

From Jeanie Young: Please continue to pray for my son-in-law's father Lydell Pockrandt and the whole family. He's been given two weeks to two months to live.

From Becky Williamson:  Praise that Alma Jones was able to be moved to Mira Vista. Prayers that she will regain her strength quickly.  Also, prayers for the family of Pat Colleton as they mourn her passing.

From Karla Williamson:  My brother-in-law's mom, Pat Colleton passed away Thursday. Please keep the whole family in prayer.  Also prayers for sfe travels and a wonderful time with my family back east this week and into next.

From John Gaines: Trish Gaines is battling another migraine this weekend. She tried to come today, but had to go back home.

From Rentz Gullick: Pray for Allen & Judy's safe journey as they start up the California coast on their motorcycles today.

From Lydia Williamson:  Praise that the cousins from Oregon have arrived safely at their home.

From Rodney Blunt:  Please keep Ken Pearson in your prayers as he's preparing for open heart surgery in the very near future.

June 2 Notes and Prayer Requests

• Please pray for Pat Colleton (my sister's mother-in-law) as she was just diagnosed with bone cancer. We should know more tomorrow as far as the stage. As of now she doesn't want treatment.  Thank you.  (Karla Williamson)
• My son-in-law's father, Lydell Pockrandt, was just diagnosed with cancer. Please keep him in your prayers.  (Jeanie Young)
• Prayers for quick healing for Jackson Blunt.  He fractured one of the bones in his left elbow Friday night.
• Praises! 1) My sister's surgery went very well, better than the doctors expected, getting all the tumors. Still a stage 4 cancer, but doing better now. 2) Andrew will be driving to Searcy, Arkansas tomorrow for his training for China. Pray for his safety. Praise God that he was safe Friday night from the tornadoes and keep all the people there in Oklahoma in prayer as they recover.  Thank you.  (Cathi Adams)

Prayer Requests from Sunday:

• Pray for a safe journey for Jim and Laura White as they travel to Montana and back this weekend.
• Praise that Derek Barcalow is home safely after working on a fishing boat in Alaska. He expects to be home for three months before returning to Alaska.
• Karla Williamson asks us to pray for her sister Lisa as she seeks wisdom in a difficult situation.
• Lonnie Humpal says, "I would like prayers said for me as I have a lung disease. There is no cure except for a transplant. I do believe there is a miracle for me!  I do not always feel well. That is why I am not here every Sunday. Thank you."
• Candan, Adam, & Kinsley Moser will be traveling this week to Hawaii. Please keep us them in your prayers ... especially in that it's Kinsley's first time flying.
• Jody Brown thanks everyone for prayers. Her surgery was a great success.
• It was very good to have Marge Easley well enough to be present Sunday. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.
• Please continue praying for the Adams family and for Ann Dale.  Also pray for Cathi's sister, Diane. She will be having major surgery on Thursday to remove malignant tumors.
• Please continue to remember Ruth Lake Wilkison in your prayers.

• Area-Wide Gospel Singing ... Fidalgo Island Church of Christ in Anacortes
• June 15 -- Berry Dairy Days in Burlington.  The church will have a booth in the children's area.
• August 11-14 Vacation Bible School here at Skagit Valley Church of Christ.  6:30-8:30 p.m.  Volunteers are needed for all kind of things. See John Gaines if you're interested in helping.

May 19 Prayer Requests

From Audrey Hastings:  Thank you for your love shown to me on my return to Skagit. Please be sure to meet my friends Curtis & Nadine Mohr.

From Andy Adams: Pray for the family of Alton Asbery, for Cathi, her uncle, and Ann, as they deal with the loss. Alton passed away after a long battle with lung disease. Alton was Ann's brother and Cathi's uncle. He was a preacher for the church mostly in Washington.  Cathi and her mom, Ann are sick with bronchitis and Ann with congrestive heart failure. Also, pray for me to stay healthy and get plenty of rest while having to work extra overtime as my partner is on vacation.

From Rentz Gullick:  Pray for Judy and Allen's trip to California to be a safe one.

From the Williamson family: We praise and thank God for Joseph Daniel Williamson and that he turns 6 today. Happy Birthday!

From Jeanie Young: Keep Marge in your prayers - she's not here today.

Praise that Casey Newman has gotten a job.  God answers prayers!

Please keep Kenny Pearson in your prayers. He has a doctor's appointment in June to determine timing for open heart surgery.

Pray for Jody Brown as she recovers from shoulder surgery.

Pray for Mindy Stapleton's dad, Howard Taylor, as he recovers from surgery on his hand. He will have similar surgery on his other hand in a few weeks. Pray for a full recovery.

Pray for Jim White's sister, Anita, who is sick in Montana.

Pray for Mindy Stapleton's sister, Wendy.

Pray for the Farmer family, who have a premature baby that was born several days ago. They are related to friends of the Adamses.
