Prayer Requests from Wednesday Night and Sunday

From Wednesday night, September 11:

• Lee Singleton asks our prayers for a quick car recovery. Also, Mindy's foot is still pending a diagnosis about whether or not surgery will be required.  
• Paige Singleton offered praise for her Grandma and for her sister Piper, both of whom have birthdays this week.
• John Gaines mentioned the bicycle accident Mike Macomber had on his way to work Wednesday morning early. He was injured, but everything should heal without more medical attention. Also, prayers requested for Trish's brother Gary Holden, who was back in the hospice residence.
• Karla Williamson asked prayers for a family friend Kevin who was seriously injured in a car accident.
• Rodney Blunt asjed iyr oraters for Karee, who injured her back and for Andy Adams who has been sick. Also for a friend, Sarah, who is flying to London.
• Olivia Blunt asked that our nation can have healing from the 9/11/2001 attacks.
• Becky Williamson asked prayers for Kenny Pearson as he continues healing from heart surgery.
• Rentz Gullick asked prayers for safe travel for Allen & Judy Hill and for our visitors Jack & Nancy Farber who will be going on an Alaskan cruise, then traveling on to report to supporters of their Latin American mission work.

• From Craig Pitner:  Praise for my new phase of my job. Also keep lifting up Vivian as she is still having health issues. Also praise that Chris has moved home.
• From Steve and Debbie Wilkison: Thank you to this church for your love of Ruth Lake and helping her family celebrate her incredible life. She loved you all.
• From Jim Wilkison: Thanks to everyone who made the memorial to Ruth Lake the very good occasion that it was.
• For Trish Gaines:  Prayer of thanks that Trish is home again. Also prayers for Trish because she got word this morning that her brother Gary is very close to the end of his life.  Prayers for peace for Trish and John.
• For Steve and Bonnie Diggs: Pray for safe travels for Steve and Bonnie as they travel for their ministry together.

Prayer Requests

• Cati Adams will be starting a new job tomorrow at a food bank in Stanwood. Please pray that goes well.  Also, Cati has a dental appointment where she will have several cavities filled.
• Andy Adams asked prayers for job opportunities for Andrew and for his teaching opportunities.
• Trish Gaines asked prayers for her brother, Gary Holden. He is in the latter stages of a battle with cancer.
• Becky Williamson asked prayers for Robb, who is waiting for test results for pain and illness. Pray for an accurate diagnosis of his problem and for healing.
• Jay Pace offered praise that Evan's brain tumor is shrinking.
• Andy Adams asked prayers for a co-worker who has been having pain.
• Monda Woodward asked prayers for her son Ian to have wisdom and for Monda as she tries to advise and encourage him.
• Prayers for school agers and teachers.
• Joseph Williamson offered praise for a great trip to Oregon and time he spent with his cousins.
• Mindy Singleton needs prayers for her injured foot to heal.
• John Williamson suggested that we pray and work for a good turnout for the seminar this weekend.

Upcoming Events

• The Celebration Remembering Ruth Lake Wilkison will be Saturday at 2 p.m. here at the church building.
• ReTooled and ReFueled Seminar with Steve Diggs will be Sunday and Monday. Session 1 is Sunday at 9:30 a.m.  Sessions 2 & 3 will be Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Sessions 4 & 5 will be Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Commit to come yourself and invite others.  
• Potluck Lunch Sunday following morning services.  Bring some food and enjoy the fellowship.

Wednesday Night Prayer Requests - August 28

• Praise that ANDREW ADAMS arrived safely in China.
• ANN DALE has been having trouble walking and is in lots of pain. Pray for her to have peace and healing.
• Laura White asked prayers for her nephew LESTER for his long-term healing and for the health of a new baby who is on the way.
• TRISH GAINES is coming home Sunday after caring for her brother for the last seven weeks. She has not been well herself this week. Pray for her to be well physically and emotionally.
• There was a shooting on campus this week at FAULKNER UNIVERSITY. No students were involved directly, but pray for peace and comfort for the students and for the campus worker who was shot.
• ALMA JONES will be transitioning to live with Joe and Becky Williamson. Pray for things to go smoothly and for Becky's sister as she helps short-term with Alma's care.
• Laura's brother LARRY pulled a muscle in his heart. Praise that it was not a heart attack as first thought, and prayers for his quick healing.
• KARLA WILLIAMSON asked prayers for her nephew SHANE for health problems, for her dad DAN to get more stable in his condition with Parkinson's and for Karla to have relief from back pain.
• For "MISS OPIE" who is having health concerns.
• For JOSEPH's cold to get better
• And for "ALL THOSE WHO ARE SICK"
