Wednesday Night Notes

July 30, 2014

• Rentz Gullick has now completed five of his nine scheduled chemo treatments. He is still doing well. His sister and niece arrived today from Texas for a visit.
• Please keep in mind Dr. Kent Brantly, his wife Amber, his mother Jan, and other family and friends who are distressed by his fight with ebola.  He is the brother-in-Christ who has contracted the ebola virus while serving as a medical missionary in Liberia.
• Trish Gaines is home tonight suffering from a migraine.
• Cathi Adams also has a migraine.  Andy also reports that Cati graduates from CNA school tomorrow and will start work soon.
• Prayers requested for Karla Williamson's dad for a good, strong attitude as he deals with Parkinson's disease and as he prepares to travel out here to visit.
• Andy Adams marks his 27th anniversary working for Boeing.
• Trevor is still dealing with the cleanup and getting ready to start renovations to his house after the fire.
• Monda Woodward will have a procedure done on her knee next week.

John and the kids cut their camp short to be here to lead the singing and help Karla with the refreshments. Thank you Karla for coordinating the decorations and refreshments. July 20 Prayer Requests and Notes

Our condolences go to Ann Dale and Cathi Adams in the death Sunday afternoon of their daughter/sister Diane, whose battle with cancer ended.  Please pray for Diane's husband and family as well as Ann and Cathi.  Andy turned in a card this morning asking for our prayers for strength for them.  He also asked us to pray that God would give him wisdom to say and do what he could during this time of loss in his family.

Karla requested prayers for John, their kids, Becky, Darren and his kids as they go to Camp Irondyke this week.  Prayers for their safety and for it to be a fun time for them.  Also prayers that she won't be "a worry wort."  Paige asks, "Please pray for the Williamson family as they are in Oregon.  Help them have a safe trip."  A few other cards asked briefly for the Williamsons to be safe as they travel.

Multiple cards ask us to pray for Rentz Gullick as he undergoes chemo treatments for his cancer.  He has been struggling with lack of energy and tiredness.  His next series of chemo treatments will be Tuesday-Thursday of next week.

Praise that Lonnie and Jadis are back with us today, as well as Derek and Tanna.

Please keep Karee Blunt in your prayers. She was not feeling well today.

Notes from Trevor Hasenoehrl and Jake Hill express their praise that there were unharmed in their fire and that the fire did only a little structural damage to the house.  They ask prayers that God will cause the repairs to fall into place quickly and easily.  (Trevor and Jake need any help we can offer with cleanup after the fire and getting everything ready for renovation work to get underway.)  Contact them about when you might be able to help.

July 13 Notes and Prayer Requests

From the Adams family:

• Ann Dale is in the hospital in Everett with several infections. Will be there a few days.
• Cathi's sister Diane is still on Hospice. Please pray for our family.
• for Andrew, as he travels to Oklahoma on Wednesday to visit Melissa.

From Karla:

• Praise that our niece Annelise is getting baptized today.
• Praise that Lydia gets to go to Camp Yamhill this week.  Prayers for a good, safe time.
• Prayers for safe travel for Evelyn, Joe, & Becky as they travel homje tomorrow from Oregon.

Other prayer requests:

• Please pray for Ann Dale. She was admitted to the hospital late last night for some gastro-intestinal issues.  She'll be in the hospital for a day or two.
• Diane, Cathi's sister, continues to decline. Hospice is involved and says it could only be a couple more days.
• Praise that Karee's sister, Lisa, arrived safely for a week.
• Rentz's first set of treatments is over. Pray for his heath and healing.
• Jared Gaines and family are going to Tanzania on a mission trip.  Pray for their safety and the success of their work.
• Prayers for the family of Betty Brown.  May God's comfort be on her sons Dick and Sky and on her grandchildren.

July 6 Notes and Prayer Requests

Prayer Requests:

• Please continue to pray for my Dad and the side effects of Parkinsons.  Also for Kevin Cellucci.  He has had some improvement and is being moved to a different health care facility.  Thanks, Karla
• Prayers for Rentz as he begins chemotherapy and for the Browns and Wilkisons as they grieve the passing of a family member.  Thanksgiving for wise leaders in homes and all other places -- may they increase.
• Please remember Rentz in prayer this week as he starts chemo on Tuesday. Praise that my brother and his family have arrived safely home in Fort Worth. Prayers for the Brown families.  Judy

• Pray for support during an unanticipated career disruption. (Brian Lindahl)
• Pray for Cathi Adam's sister/Ann Dale's daughter, Diane, who is suffering with stage 4 cancer.  Hospice will be called in now. She will also be having surgery next week to relieve a blockage around her liver that was caused by the cancer.
• Praise for getting into my CNA class and thanks for your prayers. Please pray that I will learn what I need that I can pass my tests to get my license.  (Cati Adams)
• Thanks to each one who cares and shows concern for my mom Marjorie Easley.  It is very much appreciated by her family.  Also, pray for a safe flight back to Georgia for my granddaughter Riley and me.  With sincere love, Rebanette Easley-Wier.

Wednesday Night Prayer Requests - June 25

• Please keep the Wilkison family in your prayers. Jim passed away on Tuesday night. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
• Please continue praying for Rentz Gullick. He will begin his chemotherapy treatments soon.
• Pray for safe travel for Karee Blunt.
• Pray for Cathi Adams' sister Diane who is having new symptoms in her cancer battle.
• Pray for Ann Dale, who fell again this week. Thankfully, she was not seriously injured.
• Pray for Lee Singleton's mom Nancy, whose broken wrist is not healing as well as hoped.
• Pray for Darren Williamson as he travels home from Tennessee
• Pray for Becky Williamson for peace of mind as she adjusts to her mom living with her.
• Pray for Cati Adams that she will be given the opportunity to take CNA training. UPDATE: Cati reports that the call came Thursday informing her that she has been accepted.
